People have the right to envision a life based on their personal values, preferences, and interests
The measurement process therefore needs to provide an opportunity for them to fully voice the outcomes they desire to experience.
To be person-centered means to focus on the person’s own perspective and the degree to which something is important to them.
In addition a person-centered approach extends measurement to consider both what is important to the person and what is important for the person.
