Getting started with telehealth for early intervention: Learning modules

Getting started with telehealth for early intervention: Learning modules overview

Welcome!

The following online modules are intended for caregivers of young children with autism or related developmental disabilities who are preparing to begin early intervention over telehealth.

You can view these modules on a computer, a Smartphone, or a tablet. You can start and stop the modules and you can return to pages that were helpful at a later time.

You can scroll through the modules with the arrows at the bottom of each page, or use the tabs on the left-hand side of the screen to jump to specific pages. Your provider may ask you to review certain modules at certain times and your provider will be available to discuss questions that arise.

The modules will walk you through:

  1. Getting connected over telehealth technology,
  2. Planning for your first telehealth session,
  3. Completing assessment over telehealth with your child, and
  4. Intervention over telehealth with your child.

Some of the modules have short video clips and resources. Each module should take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
