35th Anniversary Edition

Happy Anniversary!

A woman with short, blonde hair and blue glasses and a gray sweater sits on a carpeted stairway next to her son, who is wearing a gray pullover. Both are smiling and looking straight at the camera.

We started receiving Impact when my son was just a toddler and he is now 37 years old! Our family has appreciated each and every issue. The variety of topics, depth of information, and perspectives it offers has helped us as a family to be informed and has guided us through different aspects of his life. Many past issues still sit on my bookshelf as the topics, quality of the articles, and information is timeless. I often share the publication and articles with other families to help them on their journey.

Having my son, Derek, featured in an issue was a highlight for him and our family. We’ve experienced highs and lows, changes to the systems, and at times uncertainty. One thing we could count on over the years is getting the latest issue of Impact! Congratulations on the anniversary. Keep educating, informing, and inspiring everyone on the issues that impact people with disabilities!
