My article for the Impact Feature Issue on Inclusive Higher Education (Spring 2022)was included in the CUNY Academic Works website, which was really exciting. I’m graduating this May from Hostos Community College with a certificate and will be working two days a week as an intern at the World Trade Center Museum. I’m still living with my sister and would like to work with children with disabilities in the future. In my article, I wrote about my dream to go to college instead of staying in a day program, and now I’ve done it. I’m really happy. I am beginning my life as a Hostos alumna.
