Mindfulness and Wellness
This component of Positive Social Strategies focuses on Mindfulness; the ability for people to learn to be in the moment, to connect with our environment and those around us, andis a strategy that helps create wellness, reduce stress, and help people achieve a better quality of life.
Participants will learn:
- how mindfulness allows us to be reflective and not reactive.
- that mindfulness helps us listen intently without responding emotionally.
- the first step in practicing mindfulness.
