  • Consider what data or information you need to help you answer a guiding question
    • Example - change in social connectedness after implementing a relationship-building intervention
  • Before selecting a measure, consider:
    • The availability of existing data
    • The feasibility of collecting new data
    • Who or what the best source of information will be (e.g., the people receiving services, administrative data, etc.)
