Your child may use forms of Augmentative or Alternative Communication (AAC), which is when a different form of communication replaces or is used in combination with verbal communication.

Devices where your child can select a picture and the device will speak the word, such as a tablet or a different kind of device
American Sign Language.
If your child uses AAC, your provider will also include their uses of AAC as communication in the assessments.
