RTC/OM HCBS Measurement Education Modules

Level of Measurement: Individual

Individual (personal characteristics and outcomes)

Examples of individual-level measurement outcomes include:

  • Whether or not someone's transportation options accommodate their mobility challenges.
  • To what extent the level of support a person receives matches their needs.

The purpose of individual-level measurement is to determine how an individual’s characteristics and/or services relate to their individual outcomes. For example, are the transportation services someone receives reliable?

  • Data from several individuals can be combined to provide an overall picture for a group.Â
