Need a little help kicking off your collaboration? Even small steps like crafting an email or setting an agenda can take time.
These templates are intended to support the communication between educators who are collaborating to meet the needs of all students. There are several templates to choose from - please modify them to meet your needs or skip them and use your own!
Sample text to first connect with your new collaborative partner. Please modify to fit your needs:
Dear (colleague),
I look forward to collaborating with you to make our lessons more inclusive for all of our students. Here are our first steps:
- We need to find a time to meet (either for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 45 minutes).
- Here is the TIES Center protocol we can use (choose based on time available: 5 minute meeting time, 15 minute meeting time, or 45 minute time).
