“Check” Data

“Check” data, often referred to as “ABC,” can be found in the following areas:

• Attendance
• Behavior, and
• Course Performance

By collecting data weekly in each of the ABC's, mentors can systematically track indicators of student disengagement, respond with timely interventions, and capture progress week to week to celebrate even small successes with students and families!

C&C mentors regularly check data schools already collect on students’ attendance, behavior, and educational progress. Data collection should be completed weekly (or more, as needed) and tracked on the C&C monitoring form or C&C App.
