Size of state-run IDD Settings. On June 30, 2019, 26,175 people lived in state-operated residences. On June 30, 2019, 26,175 people lived in a state-operated residence. Of those people 4% shared a residence with 3 or fewer service recipients, 17% shared a home with 4 to 6 recipients, 17% shared a home with 7 to 15 recipients, and 62% shared a residence with 16 or more service recipients with IDD.
