Size of state-run IDD settings

On June 30, 2021, 23,993 people lived in state-operated residences. Of those people, 4% shared a residence with three or fewer service recipients, 17% shared a home with four to six recipients, 16% shared a home with seven to 15 recipients, and 62% shared a residence with 16 or more service recipients with IDD.
