ICF/IID recipients per 100,000 by state

There were 3 states highlighted in gray with no ICF/IIDs: Michigan, Montana, and Oregon.

There were 21 states highlighted in light blue where one to 10 people per 100,000 lived in an ICF/IID. Those states were: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

There were 14 states highlighted in blue where 11 to 25 people per 100,000 lived in an ICF/IID. Those states were: California, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Tennessee.

There were 13 states where 26 to 90 people per 100,000 lived in an ICF/IID. These states were: Arkansas, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and West Virginia.

In 2020, an average of 19.6 people lived in ICF/IIDs per 100,000 people in the United States. The number ranged from 0 in Michigan, Montana, and Oregon to 90 per 100,000 in Louisiana.
