Module Description

The purpose of this learning module is to assist individuals, their families, or authorized representatives who self-direct services to identify the duties, skills, and characteristics a direct service worker (DSW) would need to have to provide high-quality supports. This learning module also includes information on how to develop a recruitment plan to recruit qualified DSWs.

Module Objective

Learners will be able to identify a recruitment plan to attract DSWs who provide high-quality supports to the individual who self-directs their services.
