HCBS Training

Finalizing Your Team

Most teams working on person-centered and positive support practices start with a small team because larger groups can be harder to manage and are more costly to maintain. This small team meets on a regular schedule and makes sure that everyone in the setting has a chance to share ideas and give the team feedback.  The team may bring questions to staff meetings, training events, or to other working groups that already meet.  The goal of the small team is to involve as many people as possible in the action-planning process by sharing ideas and gathering feedback.
